Antoni  Sulinski

Antoni  Sulinski of Russia; (Polish ethnicity) who resided in Visdrop was born 1882. He departed from Antwerp, Belgium on the ship Finland. He arrived at Ellis Island on June  6, 1905 at the age of 23 years.

Finland

Built for Red Star Line, British flag, in 1902 and named Finland. New York-Antwerp and later New York-Liverpool service. Transferred to American Line, in 1916. Used as US Army transport 1918-19. Transferred to Red Star Line, British flag, in 1919. New York-Antwerp and New York-Hamburg service. Sold to Panama Pacific Line, US flag, in 1923. New York-Panama Canal-San Francisco service.

Antoni settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. On February 2, 1916, he married Pauline Suchodupski (wedding photo). They had six children: Francis, Genevieve, Pearl, Marie, Rita, and Joseph.

Antoni died June 19, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Pauline died March of 1985 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
